Dr. Arthur Donovan
Dr. Arthur Donovan is a graduate of Bellarmine College and the University of Louisville Medical School. He has served as a major in the US Army and taught at the University of New Mexico Medical School. Currently, Dr. Donovan is involved in a procedure called Uterine Ablation, which is an outpatient procedure to correct heavy periods. Dr. Donovan is currently giving lectures both nationally and locally about this procedure and is involved in research to improve the procedure. Dr. Donovan is also interested and involved in research on bladder incontinence. Dr. Donovan is married and has three children.
Dr. Richard Oliphant
Dr. Richard Oliphant is a native of St. Louis, MO. A University of Louisville graduate, he obtained his medical degree from the U of L School of Medicine (1979), where he also completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology (1983). Dr. Oliphant is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (1987) and certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (1985). His special interests include ultrasonography, antenatal testing and pelvic laser surgery. Dr. Oliphant is married to Dr. Julia Schroeder and they have two daughters.
Dr. John R. Penta
Dr. John R. Penta, a native of Boston, Mass., has made Louisville his home since 1980. He is a graduate of Tufts University (1976) and received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine (1980). He completed his residency in OB/GYN at University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1984 and was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (1986). Dr. Penta has been a clinical instructor at U of L, where he participated in resident education. Dr. Penta's special interests include infertility and high-risk pregnancies. He is married and has three sons.
Dr. Tom Benninger
Dr. Tom Benninger, a native of Illinois, graduated from Wooster College (1976) in Ohio. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Louisville Medical School (1981) and completed his residency at U of L (1985). Dr. Benninger is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (1987). He is married and has two sons and a daughter.
Dr. James E. Segal
Dr. James E. Segal attended University of Florida as well as the University of Louisville Medical School, where he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Segal is Board Certified and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is married and has two children.
